Happening on Thursday the 14th of July, If you’re aged 11-19 (or up to 25 with SEND) we are thrilled to invite you along to this major celebration of everything good that’s happening in Tower Hamlets within mental health. You’ll hear key note speeches from leading figures within the world of mental health, have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of professionals and young people, and participate in young person-designed workshops focusing in on some key areas.
It’s set to be full of inspirational key note speakers, panel discussions with leading figures and professionals. Plus, discussions with young people who have campaigned and worked for mental wellbeing.
According to a NHS survey in 2021, five young people in every classroom has a probable mental health condition (1). As a youth focused organisation, we believe it’s crucial to combine with the work of the NHS, schools, teachers, politicians, mental health organisations, and our community – to de-stigmatise mental health. We’d be delighted for you to attend the wellbeing forum to form part of the conversation that’s working towards this shared vision.
Importantly, it’s going to give young people the opportunity to create change and ask questions to decision makers who are working within mental wellbeing and general wellbeing within health in Tower Hamlets.
Additionally there will be free food, refreshments and a goodie bag for attending.
We also invite teachers, policy makers, and youth-focused organisations to attend the Wellbeing Forum to gain an enhanced insight into the young people’s views on mental health and wellbeing.
